Aurora Animal Care and Control helps thousands of animals each year and we couldn’t do it without our supporters. There are many ways you can get involved.

Rescue Partners

Aurora Animal Care and Control often partners with State licensed animal shelters or breed specific rescue groups to transfer hundreds of animals a year out of the shelter. By working cooperatively with rescue groups and private humane agencies, we free kennel space for more incoming animals, reduce stress, and help facilitate permanent placement for the animal.

Volunteers

Aurora Animal Care and Control welcomes volunteers who support our mission and desire to contribute to the welfare of animals in our community.

Education and Events

Aurora Animal Care and Control offers engaging educational programs to people of all ages. We also participate in many events in our area.

Donate

Aurora Animal Care and Control accepts donations of all kinds. For safety reasons, we will not accept donations of open food or ripped/tattered linens. All in-kind donations can be dropped off at the shelter during normal business hours. You can make monetary donations in person at the shelter or donate online.
