Aurora Animal Care and Control is a proud partner of Feral Fixers, finding appropriate placement for working cats. Working cats have temperaments better suited for an outdoor lifestyle. These cats are fully vetted and ready to take on your pest problem. In return for their service, working cat owners must be prepared to provide:

  • Shelter in a barn, outbuilding, stable, or other area that is away from high traffic streets and protection from predators
  • Daily food and water
  • Long-term vet care as needed
  • A secure place to house the cat for the first few weeks in order to acclimate them to their new surroundings. Find more information on this process
