Rescue Partners
Aurora Animal Care and Control’s (AACC) Rescue Network transfer hundreds of animals a year out of the shelter. By working cooperatively with rescue groups and private humane agencies, we free kennel space for more incoming animals, reduce stress, and help facilitate permanent placement for the animal.
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all of our rescue partners who have joined our network. Your dedication, compassion, and willingness to step up for animals in need make an incredible difference every single day. Without your help, we simply could not do what we do. By working together, we’re giving countless animals a second chance at the happy, healthy lives they deserve.
Helping our partners helps us! If you’re interested in fostering one of our animals, we encourage you to reach out to one of our approved rescue partners who offers foster opportunities. Fostering through our partners not only supports the animals in their care but also helps us open space for more animals in need.
